Defining the digital product vision for Riyadh Air, shaping the future of Saudi Arabian aviation
The core task was to conceptualise innovative functionalities for Riyadh Air, creating a new product that would redefine the flying experience. This involved a deep dive into passenger friction points, aiming to elevate the journey through cutting-edge design and technology, setting a new benchmark for luxury and personalised service in aviation.
As a Senior Lead Product Designer, I led the strategic vision and design execution. Our approach, informed by extensive user research and journey mapping, delivered solutions like virtual assistant-led booking with immersive VR/AR seat selection and in-flight customisation. Key innovations included smart airport navigation, a unified digital passport/boarding pass system for individuals and families, and an onboard digital service translating hospitality values.
